How do I make look like vista?

I want to make  look almost exactly like Vista.

Of course like most, I see it pointless to actually use this theme everyday, but on the times I want to fool people that it is Vista ... i want to be able to do it properly.

So does anyone know of any themes (gtk, emerald, boot splash, gdm, etc) that can help me in making it look exactly like vista?
There are many Vista-ish themes on gnome-look.org. Have a look there. Even beryl themes that look like aero.

thanks... they're great!

Know of any that theme the start menu to look like vistas? just to keep the confusion act going on

... I thought maybe Affinity or the quot;Main Menuquot; SLAB thing ... but I can't figure out how

For GTK2 theme, you can try Elegance -  from : localhost/window borders, there is a good beryl emerald theme quot;Vista-Linuxquot;-  from : localhost/gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=42875
For Icons, you can try nuoveXT -  from : localhost/gnome-look.org/content/show.p...?content=26448
or there are loads of vista/longhornish icons at deviantART.

Edit: Here is an article for making  look alike Vista -  from : localhost/gnomestyle.blogspot.com/2007/...ike-vista.html

Stop trying to fool people into thinking ubuntu is like windows.

If you try and fool people into this, then they will only be disappointed when things don't work how they're used to.

is not windows and has its own merits. We aren't competing.

a fun joke just to **** of my friend for a moment.. then show him the unskineed -- ubvistafied ubuntu?

I just want to have some pointless fun

Don't forget that it's not just the look. It's the feel as well.

So... set up lots of cron jobs to run several CPU intensive tasks - updatedb is a good one. Then  will run really s...l...o...w...l...y and it will feel just like Vista.

but for vista, most people only know about the look and don't know about the unfeatures that vista comes with.

I think this might actually work, but I think it is still bad, since it could give people a good impression of vista, and I don't want that to happen.

Subproblem #3a: There is a culture

I didn't like this part of the article too much, there are unstable software versions but they are most likely not gonna be released to official repositories until they are stable, and so and so.

Problem #6: Imitation vs. Convergence

but this section is gold enough that makes the whole article worth it.

OMG that's awesome! .... so making it run so much slower than usual... making it look a bit off form vsta (like missing out the top of the orb on start menu)...
