July 2007 Desktops - Posting Guidelines

* Stay within the board rules, no matter how hot you may believe the wallpaper/screen shot to be.

* If you are going to quote, there isn't a need to quote an ing-embeded picture - Just don't do it. Please just reference the post by page number/page link/etc.

Well, basically the same as the end of June but I wanted to post first. Darn...Missed it. But second to Zappa is cool .



Openbox 3.3.2 with quot;ob-in-dustryquot; from the openbox-themes package.
Fbpanel 4.9 from source.
Gkrellm 2.2.10 from source with Gentoo patches.  (enables SSL and TLS)  Modified Glass theme.
GTK: Smooth-Line
Icons: OsX_MoD
Wallpaper: randomly changes every 5 minutes, but the first one is from divineerror.deviantart.com

I'm liking Gutsy, but since Compiz isn't working on my card properly yet, I'm keeping it simple.

GTK/Metacity: Reuben (From Gnome-Look)
Icons: Tango, some from Gnome set
Panel stripes from The Stripe Generator
Background from dA. It's a view downriver in the Greatest City on Earth: Leeds.

Pretty much the default KDE, I only played a bit with the colours. Not exactly the most stylish thing on earth, but it's easy on the eyes
There are a few more things that I have to tweak to get it consistent (like the Opera theme and I have to find a darker icon theme), but it is fine like that, too.
