I have an onboard Realtek ALC658D sound controller. For the life of me, I can't get the mic to work in Ventrilo. I don't want to go back to Windows for such a minor problem. I help run servers and would like to be able to run Ventrilo while playing DOD:S. Should I maybe grab a sound card to solve my problem?
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.
I don't even want to think about reinstalling Windows. I have it as a vm but only for my pc repair files.
