Feisty amp; Firefox web browsing problem

Hi I won't go into too much detail here as I have already started a thread in the networking forum, but I wondered if any of you in beginners might be able to help me, as I am more or less an absolute beginner with linux and especially with ubuntu.

If you cant find the wiki use Google - that's a good resource too!
