ok i have some films i want to put onto disc, but i cant seem to find aa application for doing it.
the films are basically decompressed dvds, so you get a folder and then in that folder you get the video_ts folder and the audio_ts folder, so whats the best app for putting them onto dvd, im presuming that i will need a program that we encode the files and then compress them to fit onto a 4.7 gb dvd disc.
the programs i used for this under windows were dvd shrink to compress and put onto disc (although you have to have nero installed for it to work) and i used dvd decrypter to extract the files.
any help will be appreciated.
cheers.
Have you tried k3b - this is a burning app for the kde.
It does the job for me, but I don't need that much
I concur, K3B is probably the best burning app you can get for Linux. There is not substitute (AFAK).
cheers, ive used the k9 copy and it seems to do what i wanted, that is to say the films are on dvd and play on the dvd player (not the pc one)
cheers.
k3b or nero for linux =]
I use K3B too, although i think it does a lot more than I shall ever use it for
nero for linux ? you learn something new every day, didnt even know nero did a linux version.
cheers
Yes Nero for Linux. They say its a neat app. Unfortunately, its not open source, neither is it free !!
Haven't used it personally |
