Hello All. New to linux but love it. Can you help please? Have a Creative Live 5.1 sound card which has been recognized OK by Fiesty 7.04 but sound is weak with a great deal of background noise. Are there better drivers for my card and, if so, where do I get and how do I install? Appreciate your help. To you open source people - power to your elbow! Regards Colin
You should use alsamixer in order to control your sound settings. Check this out.
