Im trying to partiton my ubuntu partition to shrink using the puppy linux partitioner, Everyone time i try to partiton it, it gives me a error. Whats wrong
What kind of error ?
Could you post the output. It could be that your hdd is way too fragmented or that it's geometry is not recognized or that the drive is still mounted.
Also, with what application are you trying to partition ?

Ummm, I don't know anything about puppy linux but... are you trying to edit a partition your booted into (accessing)? That doesn't usually work far as I know, since your actively using it (like trying to shrink a windows C partition while booted into windows). Download and burn the GParted Live CD, its a very useful tool, then boot into it and you'll get loaded up with the partitioner, then resize away. If I'm wrong, someone feel free to correct me gt;.gt;. |
