ATI x600 shows only half screen on TV

Hi,

I've been struggling for hours to get my ATI X600 graphics card to work with TVOut. That is, I would like mpeg videos to play through the TVOut connection.

I finally got video on the TV by installing the ATI driver with Envy and then running:

sudo aticonfig --overlay-on=1
BUT, it squeezes the video to be displayed only at the upper half of the screen.... That is, the whole video is being displayed, but vertically it squeezes the video to only use the upper half of the screen... (width is ok).

What setting can I change to have it use the entire height of the screen?

I have the same problem with my ati x700 but I think it's ati driver related. Maybe it'll be fixed in the next driver release
