Konqueror

I recently updated KDE to 3.5.7 and had no problems with it apart from the File Already Exists dialog box.

When I try to copy a image file to a new location if a file with the same name already exists Konqueror will display a dialog box asking if I want to Rename, Overwrite or Cancel.

Before the update Konqueror would display a preview for both images making it much easier, now it only display the quot;genericquot; icon associated with the image filetype (see screenshot).
Is there an option to control if a preview is displayed on the dialog box? Any KDE 3.5.7 users with the same issue?

Thanks,

anyone?

Does Konqueror itself show previews? Go to View gt; Preview and see.

Everything seems to be quot;normalquot; with Konqueror. I have View Mode set to Icon View and Konqueror displays .jpg files as seen in the screenshot.
Image previews are enabled.
Any ideas?

Maybe it has something to do with the size of the file. You can limit the previews by setting a max size, like 2MB for example. any image bigger than 2MB, and konqueror won't try to create a thumbnail. You can adjust it in the settings I think.

You can also switch to Dolphin
