Nvidia Drivers

I was just wondering if I would see any improvements if I use Nvidia drivers rather than the restricted drivers I am currently using, I have a Geforce Go 7600.

The nvidia and the restricted drivers are the same thing

nvidia-glx
or nvidia-glx-new

nvidia may have never drivers, but i think its only board support, i don't think there have been any bug fixes or added features.

I've got a Leadtek WINFAST A7600GT installed but the max screen resolution is 1024 x 768.  My LCD works best at 1280 x 1024, any chance of getting this resolution?

The card has a Geforce 7600 GT chipset and is an 8X AGP.
