Transfering and Vista partitions to other harddrive help

Hi,

I bought a new 320GB HD and I do not want do do fresh installs of  and Vista, because of having to set it up all again. The best solution for me would be to move both partitions so that they work. Will it work if I back up the MBR of the old disk, transfer the partitions (with PowerQuest DriveImage or something like that) to the new drive and restore the old disks MBR to the new hard drive???
