Basically I would like to know how to get my graphics card up and running in 7.04. On the first boot the restricted drivers window came up and I enabled the driver for it but it only lets me max out the screen size and does not give me all thats needed in order to do 3D. In openSUSE by default every thing is working fine and I was able to play some nice 3D chess game with all the effects however I can not use that distro as it does not detect my wifi card any help would be greatly appreciated. Note: I know the graphics card is nowhere near top of the line but it runs aero smoothly and was running in 3D in SUSE which gives me hope. Thank you so much, Brad

HI, I am using a X300 on my desktop and I am not using the restricted driver, I am using the ati driver which was used at installed. You may backup your xorg and then change the driver in the devices section to ati. Hope this helps good luck! |
