convert vcd to dvd

i have to convert some vcds in dvds. Are there any linux sw  to do that?

ffmpeg should mprobably do sometning like that??  I am kinda a newbie..  I am using devede to burn a dvd right now.. I can't see why you couldn't just point it to create a dvd from file... I think it came with ubuntu studio..  hope this helps..

but running ffmpeg -i /temp/MPEGAV/AVSEQ01.DAT -target ntsc-dvd /tmp/2.mpg;

i got i wrong file format .dat message

I would try DeVeDe.  It may work.  I've used it successfully to make DVDs from *.avi files.  Try to make DVDs from the *.mpeg files in the VCDs.
