Noob needs help with tremulous!

Hello, i recently installed feisty on my machine. I opened up the terminal and typed:Code:
sudo aptitude install tremulous tremulous-server tremulous-data tremulous-doc
The install for tremulous went successful(i think) but whenever i open the application from the applicationgt;gt;gamesgt;gt;tremulous, the computer goes to a black screen and it seems like the game will load sucessfully, but then it INSTANTLY logs me off and i arrive back at the logon screen. Is this a normal issue that can be resolved by entering code and/or downloading some packets, or does this sound like a hardware issue?

sorry, *some packets

(you can click quot;editquot; on your post btw and then ammend any misspellings)

Try running:

Code:
tremulous
From a terminal and see if you can read the output.

Your video card drivers are installed?

im pretty sure its an intel integrated graphics card. Where do i find the driver for that?

I'm not sure what the problem is, but I have the same issue. I installed Tremulous both using quot;add/removequot; and I also downloaded the package from the tremulous website and ran it like you did. Same thing happens. I click on Tremulous and a black screen pops up; then a few lines run past (maybe I can try to copy and paste these if I'm quick enough) and then back to the login screen.

I have NOT installed any graphics drivers manually, but everything else seems to work fine. I'll continue to investigate.
Thanks,
Dan
