openign jpeg attachments with TB

When I receive emails with jpeg photos attached, they won't open with Thunderbird. All I get is a list of the jpeg attachments and little boxes where the photos should be. It works ok with Windows but is there something obvious I'm missing?

Go to Viewgt;Message Body As and check to see which option is selected. If  Simple HTML or Original HTML are not selected try one of those.

Thanks seisen, the option is set to HTML so presumably that bit's ok.
