VLC amp; subtitles (with ISO-8859-1)

Hi. I have been using VLC for my favourites subtittled episodes for months. I configured my VLC with ISO-8859-1 as subtittle language in preferences, so not have problems with sentences using special chars as quot;á, é, ü, ñ...quot;.

Suddenly VLC doesn't show that sentences. The ISO-8859-1 is still configured in VLC. I tried deleting the configuration file, purging amp; installing VLC again and couldn't fix it.

Could somebody help me? Thx.
