Installing enlightment inside gnome (instead of metacity)

Hi

I have installed enlightment from the repos, but I read in the elbuntu page (the team that develops enlightment for ubuntu) that in previous versions (e16) they made it that enlgihtment takes control as gnome window manager instead of metacity (the gnome default). Now it installs separate.

Can anybody tell me or give me a how to link to install enlightment (e17) to replace metacity in gnome? (for Feisty).

PD: Is it posible to have animated and interactive backgrounds using metacity and gnome?

from : localhost/better off installing it as its own login session so you can select it but go back go Gnome if everything goes haywire.  You can make Enlightenment your default session so you always log in to it and then can log into Gnome if something goes wrong with enlightenment.

Enlightenment still has bugs (I found out the hard way) so its best to have something to go back to, luckily I did.

Look at xwinwrap.  You can have screensavers or movies as your desktop background with some fidling and a little CPU usage.

Yep, Ive seen that, but when I try it, it has some umpleseant efects. The icons I have in the Desktop wont show if I dont set up a transparency. And if I do set up transparency obviously the icons are afected as well by the grafics, wich doesnt make sense cause the icons are suposed to go quot;on topquot; of the background. Also its not interactive. I have seen that the background manager of kde can show web pages with flash, so a that can make a background interactive although I am not very happy with using flash. I have heard as well that the kde background aplication can be used in gnome. Any help in this direction apreciated.
