Need really help with my ATI raddon 9200SE 3d accelaration

hi i'am a neebie for starters just came from windows xp
Here is my problem and i have looked everywhere for this problim but could not find anything
have messed up my system so many times that i had to install UBUNTU 7.04 nearly 7 times
now the ubuntu 7.04 went great have everything installed that i need beryl and desktop effects work
fine.and getting my driver info ubuntu has set it up good But as far as 3d accelaration is concernd
wel IT JUST does'nt seem to work i've tryed everything from installing envy to updating ati drivers
but seem to mess my xsever up editing xorg  i really need this to work ato run CEDEGA and to speed up my desktop preformance is there anyone who can help me on thiis cause most in forms it's more about the mobility raddon 9200se than my card
Here are my specs  Amd sempron 2300  with Msi raddon 9200SE 512MB RAM
Cause if someone can help me i will stick to ubuntu other wise i will sadly have to go back to windows
But ubuntu Looks and feels really good
now seeing some forms here it is stated that i should have full 3d support with my card
I've got one box with a ATI 9200 card in it.  7.04 autodetected and loaded the open source driver which provides full 3d.  I don't recognize that program you speak of.  Maybe if you explained more about the program and what you are trying to do it would help.

CEDEGA let's you play windows xp games on UBUNTU  ..opengl works fine but not the 3d accelaration test it's like wine
well what driver do you use?

It seems that alot of people got the same problem
