I/O error on device dm-0???

Hey,i want to run  from Live CD,but it doesn't work.I put the cd in the cd drive and reboot the computer,then start ,some things are loaded,and in some moment starts quot;Starting enterprise volume management systemquot; and then i get some errors quot;I/O error on device dm-0quot;.Why?I have 600mb free space on the drive,where is installed the other OS,is that a possible reason for this?

I can't understand anything you just said
