Pure Digital PSV-351 camera in

Has anyone tried using the Pure Digital PSV-351 or similar cameras in ? Last year, I used the quickinstall software from sourceforge to hack previous versions of this camera (then known as the CVS Digital Video Camera for $30), but I have only seen programs for Windows and Mac OS X. The advertisements of the PSV-351 say it works on Macs and PCs and does not require software to be installed in order to see the videos. Since it also USB, this makes me think that it is just a usb storage device and should work by just plugging it in.

If you have one of these cameras, let me know if got  to see the videos. I would like to know before I go get one of these cameras. Thanks!

you can try using the palm connector and using Ops-For-Linux if you need any help, go over to  from : localhost/camerahacking.com/ I'm quot;enigma-quot; there lt;/shameless pluggt;
I am a maintainer of ops-for-linux and developer of other software for linux there!

I plan to take the camera out of the case, so building the serial cable isn't a great idea for me. In the past, I've just soldered a phone cable onto the pins and used a phone to usb cable I made to connect it to the computer. Details are at  from : localhost/camerarocket.com/.

The camera I am interested in this new camera, which has a usb connecter built in and is designed to be reusable. I'll go over and check out camerahacking.com though. Thanks for the help.
