Firefox tab doesn't work properly in Faisty Faw

Links supposed to open in a new tab open in a new window (links with the tag target=quot;_blankquot;).  Even if I choose to quot;open links in a new tabquot; in options window. It happens in my pc at home (since I've upgraded to Feisty Fawn) and at work (new instalation). It doesn't happen with the version of Firefox for Windows.

Does it happen to someone else? Is there a way solve this?
Why the softwares in  are different from original ones?

The same problem here with Xubuntu Feisty. I'ts been so long, that I think it was even with Edgy.  Yes: quot;New pages should be opened in a new tabquot; IS checked. (I've checked it so many times, already...)

Don't really know how to fix this, but I always do use middle click now, to open links.

You have to change it to quot;Open in New Windowquot; Then change it back to quot;Open in New Tabquot;. It's just weird like that.

Never tried that. It's surely not the first time we have to do funny things to get our computers to work... Neither the last
