Found Lexmark Z600 Series .deb

As I was looking for a how-to on installing my z600 printer, I came across a premade .deb on these two sites: Xandros Forums and dgtlmoon.
They have a high success rate and I am wondering whether or not i should install these (possibly illegal?) .debs or just follow the how-to. I'm thinking these might not be legal because I haven't seen any premade .debs before...

Unless you're a super-hacker, you haven't found any quot;illegalquot; Debian packages. Go ahead and install them.

The .debs worked! This will save me plenty of time in the future =)
